April 28th Work Day at Pretty Lake Vacation Camp

Kiwanis Work-Day a Huge Success!

Even though it was a cold and rainy day, many Kiwanians and Bar Association volunteers put out a great effort! Assembly of new playground equipment began on Friday to take advantage of better weather, and people worked all day Saturday to get everything installed and mulch spread.

Holes were dug, forms built, and each piece of equipment was cemented into place. Landscape cloth was laid down, and 12 inches of mulch spread under and around the play areas.

Many thanks to all our volunteers. We look forward to our young campers enjoying themselves for many years to come. See many more fun photos in the Pretty Lake Vacation Ccamp Playground Installation Album.

Their ticket purchases helped local charities that serve children. Many thanks, as well, to all of the wonderful local entertainers and the door prize donors who helped each travelogue screening be an enjoyable event for families.
